For this project we were asked to design a 4" x 3" x 2" toy car using the program Autodesk Inventor. The car had to have at least one removable part that mechanically attached to the design.

Detail and Exploded View
Having not used Inventor since freshman year, I was a little rusty with the program. Once I got the hang of it and remembered all the features it did become easier and quicker to make the parts and assemblies. I did remember how to create sketches, extrude, fillet, and assemble parts along with most of the other options. I did have trouble remembering how to explode an assembly or make a detailed view. Overall, I feel that this project did refresh many of the skills on Inventor that I had forgot I had. This should make it easier to use the program if I choose to use it for my capstone project.
